What we are

An owner, not an investor

SOZA Ventures is not a fund and not an incubator. We own the companies in this group and we run them. There is no exit clock, no fundraising cycle and no portfolio to rotate — which changes what a company can plan for and how long it is allowed to take.

Each business serves its own market and keeps its own identity. What they share is an owner: the same direction, the same capability behind them and the same standard of execution, whatever sector they operate in.

That structure is the point. A company on its own has to earn every capability from scratch. A company inside the group starts with technology, marketing, trade relationships and logistics that already exist and already work.

How it works

Close enough to act, far enough to let people work

We hold board and operating roles in every company. Targets are agreed with the team that has to hit them, and then reviewed against honestly. When something moves, we are close enough to act on it in days rather than quarters.

What we do not do is run a company from the outside. The people closest to the customer keep the decisions that belong to them. Our job is to make sure the standard holds, the resources are there, and nothing gets built that the group cannot operate.
